During our trips to Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Peru, Panama and Mexico, students learn the vital role indigenous communities have to play when protecting the natural environment.

Learn sustainable agriculture techniques

In Colombia and Peru students learn sustainable farming techniques like agroforestry, permaculture, and organic farming.

By working with local farmers to understand sustainable agriculture, they gain a first-hand look at the impact agriculture has on the environment and the farmer’s health.

They will also explore the full farm-to-fork experience and the importance of the circular economy model.

Understand how sustainable transport works

During trips to Colombia, Argentina, Ecuador, and Panama, students experience how green transport is transforming cities in Latin America.

We take groups on mass public transport systems like the metro, trains, electric buses, and bikes, as they gain a first-hand look at the future of travel. 

During our expert-led dynamic reflection sessions, students use their problem-solving skills to propose possible changes to their own communities back home.

Learn about biodiversity & species conservation

In the Galapagos Islands, students explore the natural world up close. They learn about species conservation and the importance of protecting biodiversity in one of the most fragile ecosystems on the planet. 

Under the guidance of scientists, they learn data-driven techniques on how to reforest areas of land and control invasive species. 

They will also develop a greater knowledge of sustainable tourism, using the three pillars of sustainability – environment, people, and the economy.

Learn from inspirational social entrepreneurs 

On every trip, students will meet business owners, social entrepreneurs, and inspirational leaders.

They will understand how to navigate new cultures and environments to help them start their own business that drives commercial success while working to a triple bottom line. 

In every destination in Central and South America, students will visit B Corporations and businesses that are delivering true positive impact.

Develop a keen eye for assessing impact 

During every trip, students will continuously develop an understanding of how to assess impact. 

Each day, they will reflect on how they have impacted local communities and environment and of course discuss how to make changes to their own lives to become more sustainable.
