Day 5: Urban gardening & sustainable coffee farming (Medellin)

Today students will join a local pioneer and biologist, discovering how creating green spaces in urban settings can help foster a more inclusive community.

Led by urban gardener Laura, students will plant fruit and vegetables and learn the science behind making the perfect compost for different settings. The group is joined by a local high school, allowing for a truly memorable cross-cultural learning experience.

Meredith Brady, Pacific Ridge, San Diego
